Bhubaneswar: Three Odisha-cadre IPS officers of 2004 batch have been promoted to IGP rank.
According to the notification issued by the General Administration Department, Deepak Kumar, Ashish Kumar Singh and Satyabrata Bhoi have been promoted to the grade of IG of Police with effect from January 2022.
Similarly, 2008-batch Odisha cadre officers – Umashankar Dash, Prakash R and Satyajit Naik – have been promoted to the grade of DIG of Police.
Dash is currently serving as Bhubaneswar DCP.
