Jajpur: Police on Friday arrested six dacoits at Panikoili area in Jajpur district. This gang was allgedly involved in the loot of Rs 4 lakh from a businessman on February 1.
According to sources, with the help of cell phones’ tracking system, the police team traced the dacoits and arrested them.
Weapons, Rs 18,000, six mobile phones and four motorcycles were seized from their possession.
However, police are yet to disclose the identity of those arrested.
