Bhubaneswar: Morris Garages (MG) on Monday finally launched the bigger spacious Hector Plus that comes in 6 or 7-seater options.
The price of the new Hector Plus are as follows:

Style – Rs 13.48 lakh Rs 14.43 lakh
Super – Rs 15.64 lakh
Smart – Rs 16.64 lakh (DCT) Rs 17.14 lakh
Sharp – Rs 18.20 lakh (DCT) Rs 18.53 lakh Rs 17.28 lakh

Unlike the 5-seater Hector, the Hector Plus has six seats with captain seats in the middle row. The length of the Hector Plus is 65 mm more than the Hector, though it uses the same platform.
Like the original Hector, this one is also a connected car with the same 10.24 touchscreen infotainment system and iSmart connected car tech. It has ‘Smart Swipe’ — a hands-free way of opening the tailgate by swiping your leg underneath the rear bumper. Being a three-row SUV, there are adjustable AC vents in every row. It also has a panoramic sun roof. The top-end comes with smoke sepia brown-coloured leather wrapped on the seats and armrests.
It comes in 6 colours – Glaze Red, Burgundy Red, Starry black, candy white, aurora silver and Starry Sky Blue. The last colour is exclusive to the Hector Plus.
As for engines, the Hector Plus comes with options of 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol (141 bhp), 1.5-litre petrol hybrid and 2-litre turbocharged diesel (168 bhp). The petrol variant will be available with DCT and a 6-speed manual transmission option. The hybrid version and diesel come with a manual-only option.
