Balangir: The Centre Superintendent and five teachers of Haldi High School in Muribahal block of Odisha’s Balangir district have been suspended for negligence during the matriculation examination.
As per information, the matter came to light when Titlagarh deputy collector Rehan Khatri was inspecting the examination centre at the high school. During the visit, the deputy collector found irregularities in the exam centre.
Following this, the officer recommended action against the teachers.
The District Education Officer (DEO) has placed headmaster and centre superintendent of Haldi High School Umesh Biswal. Five other teachers have also been placed under suspension for negligence in duty during the matric examination.
