63 New COVID-19 Positive Cases In Cuttack City, Tally Crosses 2000

Cuttack: COVID-19 positive cases crossed 2000 in the city with 63 fresh cases reported on Friday.

According to Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), of the new cases, 13 were detected from a containment zone in Jalua Sahi, Malgodown; 19 from institutional quarantine; 11 from home quarantine and 20 were local contact cases.

As 1193 persons have recovered from the disease, the total active cases in the city stand at 853 at present while 11 persons have succumbed.

While the city’s total COVID-19 positive cases have gone up to 2057, the district has reported 3619 positive cases and 2409 among them have recovered from the infection.
