Malkangiri: As many as 63 new COVID-19 positive cases were reported from the southern district of the state on Saturday.
Of the new cases, maximum 17 were reported from Balimela NAC, followed by 12 from Malkangiri block, 8 from Korukonda block, 7 from Malkangiri Municipality, 2 from Mathili block, and one from Kohirput block of the district.
With the latest addition, the total COVID-19 cases have gone up to 3051 in the district. While 2666 patients have recovered, 8 have succumbed to the disease. There are 377 active cases at present.
