Patna: A 38-year-old man from Bihar has become the sixth casualty of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in India. And it is the second death due to deadly virus in a single day.
According to media reports, he had returned from Qatar and was admitted to AIIMS, Patna, on Friday for kidney problem. He had tested positive for the infection and the AIIMS authorities declared him dead on Sunday.
The first death of the day was reported from Mumbai, where a 63-year-old person with a history of chronic diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart problem had passed away.
The number of infected people in the country stands at 324.
