Keonjhar: Forest Department personnel rescued a seven-foot-long snake from the house of a woman in Keonjhar district on Sunday.
According to sources, one Premalata Mohanty of Asanabahali village in Patana block found the Common Krate sleeping under her bed in the morning. Premalata rushed out of her house in fear and informed her neighbours, who then alerted Forest Department officials.
Later, some foresters arrived at the spot and rescued the snake. They then released it into into Atei reserved forest.
