7-Month-old Baby Boy Dies In Keonjhar DHH Due To ‘Medical Negligence’

Keonjhar: Tension prevailed at Keonjhar district headquarters hospital (DHH) after a seven-month-old baby boy died while undergoing treatment on Tuesday due to alleged medical negligence.

According to the sources, Shaik Naim had shifted his son to Keonjhar DHH from Champua hospital. Though the baby was critical, he was left unattended at the hospital, the father alleged.

At 5 am on Tuesday, his condition further deteriorated, but no doctors came to see him following which the baby died, he further alleged.

The family members have demanding action against the hospital authority, who are yet to issue a statement on the incident.
