Bhubaneswar: The State Government on Friday withdrew additional responsibilities entrusted to seven IAS officers for COVID-19 management.
Surendra Kumar, Principal Secretary, Water Resources department, has been relieved of the additional responsibility as Nodal Officer for supply and movement of essential commodities, according to an office order of General Administration and Public Grievance department.
The additional responsibility of Vishal Kumar Dev, Secretary, Sports and Youth Services as OSD to Chief Secretary and Special Secretary, Health and Family Welfare has been withdrawn.
The other IAS officers are Krishan Kumar, Secretary, Works in charge of COVID-19 digital response system for operation of 104 call centre and the portal created for mandatory registration of persons returning to Odisha; Aravind Agrawal, Director, Social Welfare, Women and Child Development to assist Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare; SR Jadhav, Director, Tourism as OSD to Chief Secretary; BS Poonia, State Project Director, OSEPA to assist Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare and Rashmita Panda, Director, Employment-cum-CEO, Odisha Skill Development Authority to assist Principal Secretary, W&CD and Missin Shakti; Principal Secretary, Labour and ESI.
