7 Of Family Test COVID +Ve: This Area In Odisha Declared Micro Containment Zone

Keonjhar: The district administration on Saturday declared Chaturi Sahi of Tangarbantala village of Jally Panchayat in Champua block as a micro containment zone after eight persons, including seven members of a family, tested positive for COVID-19.

Collector Ashish Thakare informed that the containment restrictions will be in force from 2 pm on April 23 till midnight on April 30. There will be no movement of people in or out of the micro- containment zones, except for medical emergencies and for maintaining the supply of essentials goods and services. The supply of essentials and medical requirements will be made through the BDO, Champua.

Intensive house-to-house surveillance, in which listing of contacts of those infected, will be carried out along with their tracking, identification, quarantine, and follow-up contacts for 14 days.
