Keonjhar: The villagers of Khanibazaar area in Bidyadharpur village in the district have brought allegations of child sacrifice after a 7-year-old boy of the village went missing and remains untraceable for the last two days.
The minor son of Bijay Murmu went missing since February 23 and on yesterday evening his shirt was found near an English medium school near the village. Soon after, the angry locals went on a rampage and ransacked the school suspecting sacrifice for construction of a canal.
The villagers also torched two machines engaged in construction of the canal.
Police and firefighting teams reached the spot n brought the situation under control. Locals said the boy still remains untraceable.
