Directed by noted filmmaker Subhransu Das and based on the Odia novel ‘Nadabindu’ written by Shankar Tripathy, Tarang Cine Productions’ ‘Pushkara’ centres around themes of tradition, identity, and societal transformation in rural Odisha.
The film has already been appreciated in several film festivals and now receives its highest honour on the national stage.
This recognition is expected to inspire a new wave of filmmaking in the State and bring greater attention to Odia stories and storytellers.
