New Delhi: With his hat trick of Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki in 2023, Shah Rukh Khan established beyond doubt that he is indeed the Badshah of Bollywood. Apart from the cumulative success of these three films, it has now been reported that the superstar has also created a phenomenon by drawing nothing less than eight crore people to theatres throughout the year, with Jawan contributing 3.93 crore, Pathaan 3.20 crore, and Dunki over 1 crore so far, making SRK has become the first ever Hindi film actor to achieve this.
He is also the first superstar ever to have all three releases cross the coveted Rs 500 crore in the domestic market and Rs 1,000 crore worldwide mark in a single year, according to a News18 report.
Dunki, his first with the director Rajkumar Hirani, followed closely behind in December. The film also starred Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu in key roles. The plot of the film followed the exciting journey of those who choose an unconventional route known as the Donkey Flight, showing the difficulties they face on their way.
Just a few days back, Shah Rukh Khan also held an #AskSRK session with his fans on X when a fan asked what part of 2023 was best. To this, the actor replied: “Not parts the whole 2023 was best!!”
