Chandbali: At least eight persons were injured after the car which
they were travelling in rammed into a stationary paddy-laden truck
from the rear at Kheranga Bazaar on Cuttack-Chandbali road in Bhadrak
district on Friday.
The victims were rescued by fire personnel with the help of locals and
admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack. Of those
injured, the condition of five persons was stated to be critical.
Low visibility due to dense fog is suspected to be the reason behind
the accident, police sources said.
