Bhubaneswar: The state government has sanctioned eight new projects for Odisha Mineral Bearing Area Development Corporation (OMBADC) districts.
Chief secretary Asit Tripathy approved the projects at the Board of Directors meeting held on virtual mode on Wednesday. He directed the principal secretaries and secretaries of the departments concerned to work out a weekly monitoring plan for expeditious and qualitative implementation of the projects and complete those before the scheduled time.
Chief Executive Officer of OMBADC Uma Nanduri outlined the project proposals for discussion.
The following projects were approved at the meeting:
Earlier projects worth Rs 13,233.25 crores were sanctioned for OMBADC districts in various sectors like pipe water supply, heath services, education, skill development, integrated child services, agriculture and allied activities.
