8-Year-Old Boy Dies After Being Dragged Into Mahanadi River By Crocodile In Odisha’s Angul

Angul: An eight-year-old boy died after being dragged into the Mahanadi river by a crocodile in Tikarpada area of Odisha’s Angul district on Saturday.

As per preliminary information, the boy was attacked by a crocodile that suddenly emerged out of water when he was playing on the banks of the Mahanadi river in Tikarpada area.

According to locals, the boy belonged to Tikarpada ghat area. He was suddenly attacked and dragged into the river by the crocodile.

On being informed by locals about the incident, fire services personnel launched a search operation and fished out the body of the boy after hours of search.
