8-yr-old killed, mother critical in wall collapse at Balangir

Balangir: In a tragic incident, an 8-year-old child was crushed to death under debris of a wall, which collapsed while he was fast asleep in his house at Rugudipada Municipality Colony in Balangir on Tuesday. His mother and sister sustained critical injuries in the incident.

The injured were rescued by the neighbours and admitted to the district headquarters hospital.

According to some locals, the wall caved in following incessant rainfall and waterlogging it.
