Bhubaneswar: As many as 8,401 patients recovered from COVID-19 and were discharged from hospitals in Odisha on Friday.
Of the recovered patients, 1,825 are from Khurda district, 931 from Sundargarh, 481 from Cuttack, 346 from Nabarangpur, 343 from Jharsuguda, 322 from Angul, 308 from Mayurbhanj, 307 from Sambalpur, 297 from Nuapada and 287 from Puri, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
Similarly, there were 270 recoveries from Bargarh, 240 from Jajpur, 234 from Balangir, 234 from Keonjhar, 222 from Ganjam, and 200 from Balasore.
The recoveries from other districts are as follow:

The total recovered cases in Odisha now stand at 4,31, 658 against a positive tally of 5,12,400 with 12,238 new cases reported on Friday.
