Koraput: Nine persons have been arrested for their alleged involvement in the theft and purchase of stolen mobile phones in Odisha’s Koraput district.
According to sources, B Singpur police arrested the nine persons and recovered a total of 12 mobile phones and a bike from their possession.
Those arrested include persons who had purchased stolen mobile phones.
“We have seized 12 mobile phones and a motorcycle from one KP Rao. We have arrested Rao and eight others. They will be forwarded to court,” said sub-divisional police officer (SDPO) of Borigumma, Subhendu Sabar.
