Paralakhemundi: As many as 9 inmates in the isolation cell of two jails in Gajapati district have tested positive for COVID-19, said the district administration on Sunday.
Of the nine infected inmates, six in R Udayagiri Sub-Jail and three in Paralakhemundi Sub-Jail have tested positive.
The district administration has begun the contact tracing of the infected inmates while the remaining inmates of these two jails will undergo the COVID-19 test.
