Cuttack: In a sudden one-day surge in COVID-19 cases in Cuttack district, 92 persons tested corona positive on Friday.
All cases except one were detected in temporary medical camps (TMCs).
According to district administration sources, Kanpur registered 26 cases, Cuttack City one, Nischintakoili 43, Niali 11, Salipur two, Mahanga five (four in TMC and one local case), and Dompara four.
The district had earlier total 219 COVID-19 cases while 124 patients had recovered from the disease. One person had died of the disease last month.
