Bhubaneswar: A team of 93 Hindus from Pakistan visited Jagannath Temple in Puri on Monday.
The Omkarnath Mission, which organised their visit in association with Odisha International Center, later felicitated the team in Bhubaneswar.
“This is our message of peace to the world,” said Omkarnath Mission founder Kinkar Vitthal Ramanuj Maharaj.
The team had toured Haridwar and Rishikesh before visiting the Pilgrim Town. They will visit Mathura and Vrindavan after Odisha.
People from Islamabad, Karachi and Balochistan, among other places in Pakistan, are part of the team. They will also be visiting other religious places in Odisha.
The team members hoped that both the governments would maintain peace so that people from both sides can travel freely without any fear.
They have one-month visa to visit various religious places here.
