Bhubaneswar: As many as 96 bar dancers were detained following police raids at bars dotting the Bhubaneswar-Cuttack road on Friday night.
The Police Commissionerate said they conducted surprise raids at several bars at Laxmisagar in the state capital. They found women dancing in front of customers, blatantly violating the permitted norms and guidelines.

The bar dancers have been kept in police custody, sources said.
