Bhubaneswar: A 97-year-old woman of Odisha’s Balasore district has won the battle against COVID-19, despite her co-morbidities.
Chanchala Behera was admitted to SUM COVID Hospital here on June 18 after testing positive for the deadly disease. At the time of admission, he suffered from high blood pressure and had difficulty in breathing. She was taken to the ICU and special care and attention was given as she also had cardiac issues, hospital sources said.
The patient was discharged from the hospital after 20 days. “I thank the team of doctors, who took excellent care of my mother-in-law,” said Tapaswini Behera.
