Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Leader of Opposition (LoP) Naveen Patnaik expressed deep grief over the demise of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, who died in a plane crash in Baramati.
Hailing Pawar as a dynamic politician and dedicated public servant, Majhi prayed to Lord Jagannath to grant the departed soul peace and strength to the grieving family.

I pray to Lord Shri Jagannath ji that He grant the departed soul a place at His divine feet and bestow strength upon the grieving family to bear this sorrow. Om Shanti,” CM Majhi said in a post on X.
Similarly, LoP Naveen Patnaik expressed shock and sadness over the demise Pawar in plane crash. In a social media post, he offered heartfelt condolences to Pawar’s family, friends, and supporters.

Notably, Ajit Pawar and five others were killed after a plane carrying them crashed while attempting to land at Baramati airport in the morning. The incident occurred around 8:45 am, and all on board, including the pilot and crew members, lost their lives.
