Mumbai: Bhumi Pednekar will have the honour of speaking her mind on climate conservation on a global stage.
The actress, who is very vocal on issues relating to climate change, has been invited to speak at the Climate Week in New York.
The versatile actress, with hits like Dum Lagake Haisha and Badhaai Do under her belt, will be speaking at the session on September 23.
“Honoured to be speaking at the Climate Week NYC. A platform where climate warriors, champions, and leaders from different parts of the world get together to find solutions to accelerate climate action and share knowledge about the crisis we are in. Join my session on the 23rd,” Bhumi posted on Instagram.
This will be Climate Week NYC’s 13th year as the world’s largest climate week.
Being an environmentally-conscious citizen, Bhumi has been working relentlessly to mobilize Indians to actively participate in conserving and protecting the environment through her initiative ‘Climate Warrior’.
