A Real-Life Tarzan Roams In Odisha Jungles, Find Out More

Jharsuguda: Here is Odisha’s real life Tarzan, who has often been seen in the forest of Jharsuguda. He is as real as can be because he does not wear any clothes. Yes, such a man does exist.

This is Gopal Naik, who is not an enigma to the people of his village. His mother claims he has been like this since childhood.

Hold your breath! He eats whatever the forest gives him like seasonal fruits and roots and lives among bushes, trees and animals. Sometimes, he comes home also and eats home-cooked food.

This native of Sudung village under Khuntamal panchayat in Jharsuguda district, may live in the wilds but is not a beast but earns his livelihood by cultivating his farmland.

The best part is that he has the best of both the worlds. Village people are not intimidated by him and animals do not harm him.
