Bhubaneswar: In an effort to strengthen grievance redressal mechanisms related to Aadhaar services, the Odisha government has decided to conduct hearings to sort out issues related to the unique identification document.
The Department of Electronics and Information Technology has announced the commencement of dedicated hearings for Aadhaar-related complaints starting February 16.
Officials said the initiative is aimed at providing citizens with a structured and official platform to address various issues concerning Aadhaar enrolme
nt, updates, corrections, authentication errors, or other service-related grievances.
People facing Aadhaar-related difficulties are required to register their complaints online in advance through the official Odisha Computer Application Centre (OCAC) portal at www.ocac.in. Applicants must complete the process and obtain a registration acknowledgement receipt, which will serve as proof of submission.
Following successful online registration, complainants can appear in person before the grievance cell located on the ground floor of OCAC Tower in Bhubaneswar. It is mandatory to carry the acknowledgement receipt at the time of the hearing. The department has clarified that the hearings will be conducted on every government working Monday, beginning at 10.30 AM.
People are advised to ensure their presence at the scheduled time to present their concerns directly before the designated officials for prompt review and necessary action.
