Bhubaneswar: The Airports Authority of India (AAI), Biju Patnaik International Airport and AIIMS-Bhubaneswar have inked a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) under which medical equipment worth Rs 1 crore will be provided to the hospital.
Under its corporate social responsibility (CSR), the AAI will be providing six ICU ventilators, two portable ventilators and two defibrillators to AIIMS-Bhubaneswar. The Rs 1-crore project will be executed in a phased manner in one year.
A few months back, the AAI had committed to extend medical infrastructure development worth around Rs 12 crore in the Capital Hospital, Niali Morden Care Hospital, St. Johns Ambulance Centre and Akshya Patra Foundation. The AAI has already signed agreements with respective agencies to execute the project within one to two years.
