Mumbai: Actor Aamir Khan’s meeting with Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray has drawn attention amid the controversy surrounding actor Imran Khan’s deportation notice.
A video of Aamir and the politician’s interaction has surfaced online, prompting speculation about whether the issue came up during their meeting.
According to reports, Aamir was accompanied by his wife, Gauri Spratt.
The actor and the MNS chief have met on previous occasions and share a cordial rapport. However, neither has publicly disclosed the details of their latest conversation.
The meeting comes as Imran Khan challenges a notice issued by Mumbai’s Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO), reportedly directing him to leave India by October 28, 2026.
The actor has approached the Bombay High Court against the notice.
The development follows Imran and Lekha Washington’s participation in a protest organised by Citizens for Justice and Peace at Mumbai’s August Kranti Maidan on October 10.
There is no official confirmation that Imran’s case was discussed during Aamir’s meeting with Raj Thackeray.
