Mumbai: Actor Rahul Roy of ‘Aashiqui’ fame was admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati hospital after he suffered a brain stroke while shooting for his upcoming film LAC: Live the Battle in Kargil, the India Today reported.
He was initially taken to Srinagar and then shifted to Mumbai. He reportedly suffered the stroke due to harsh weather conditions in Kargil.
Confirming the news, his brother Romeer Sen told the Indian Express that the actor is recovering.
The 52-year-old actor is playing a Major in the film based on the real-life event of Galwan Ghati.
Rahul, who is best known for Mahesh Bhatt’s 1990 superhit Aashiqui, also won the first season of Bigg Boss in 2006.
