Komna: Rachakonda police traced a minor boy, abducted by two labourers from Komna in Odisha’s Nuapada district on September 29, to brick kilns of Thumkunta village in Telangana.
On the basis of the complaint lodged by the parents, police here, using technical evidence, suspected that the boy was within the Rachakonda commissionerate limits. Accordingly, they reached out to Rachakonda police, which formed a special team and tracked down the kidnappers — Duryodhan Bariha (30) and Padmini Maji (35) — hiding near the brick kilns. The boy was later reunited with his parents.
Further investigation will be conducted by the Komna police here.
