Pipili: A youth, who was abducted by a group of miscreants on Tuesday night, has been found in a critical condition behind Dena Bank at Siula Chhak in Pipili of Puri district.
The victim has been identified as Nrusingha Sahu of Unit-8 area in Bhubaneswar. He was admitted to a hospital in the state capital.
According to information, Sahu had gone to a hotel at Patrapara area for dinner along with his friends. While eating, he indulged with a verbal duel with a group of youths over some issue.
Irked over this, the youths forcibly took Sahu away in a car following which his friends lodged a complaint at Tamando police station.
However, some locals spotted his body this morning and alerted Pipili police about the same.
Police suspect that he was beaten up by the miscreants, who later dumped him at the secluded place and fled.
