New Delhi: IAF pilot Abhinandan Varthaman has mentally harassed during his stay under Pakistani captivity.
Varthaman, who went through a detailed medical check up here after his release, told during the debriefing that though he was not physically manhandled by his captors, he was mentally tortured, news agency ANI said quoting sources.
Abhinandan was piloting a MiG jet fighter which was shot down by Pakistan during the aerial dog fight over the LoC. Before ejecting, he had successfully hit the Pakistani Air Force F16 jet fighter.
