Mumbai: Being Amitabh Bachchan’s son is quite daunting. Abhishek Bachchan has felt the brunt several times, being often teased in social media because he sits idle most of the times while his ‘aged’ father works non-stop.
The younger Bachchan has learnt to live with the criticism, but he has made it clear that he won’t tolerate daughter Aradhya being targeted.
While promoting his recently released film ‘Bob Biswas’, Abhishek was asked how he deals with trolls which bring 10-year-old Aradhya into the picture.
“It is completely unacceptable and something I will not tolerate. I am a fair game, I am a public figure, that’s fine, but my daughter is out of bounds to you. And if you truly mean what you have to say, please come to my face and we’ll see how much guts you have,” Abhishek told Bollywood Life.
Abhishek said he would like to change people’s opinions about him.
“Agar aapka yeh manna hai ki mein achha actor nahi hun toh jab mein achha actor bann jaunga tab you will change your opinion (If you think that I am not a good actor then when I’ll become a good one then your opinion will be changed). That’s the way to look at it. Everybody has the right to have an opinion,” he remarked.
Abhishek married former Miss World Aishwarya Rai in 2007. The couple was blessed with their only child Aaradhya in 2011.
