Mumbai: Rhea Chakraborty was reportedly in touch with a senior Mumbai Police officer.
Her Call Detail Record (CDR) accessed by Times Now suggests that she was in touch with DCP Zone 9 Abhishek Trimukhe.
Notably, Bihar Police team could not meet Rhea while probing the case in Mumbai as her whereabouts were not known.
The ‘Jalebi’ actor, who had gone into hiding, finally appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday in connection with a money laundering case related to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. She was accompanied by her brother Showik Chakraborty. Her questioning is on.
Earlier in the day, the ED had rejected her request to postpone the recording of her statement till the Supreme Court hearing.
The agency has also summoned the late actor’s friend Siddharth Pithani for questioning on August 8.
