Bhubaneswar: Governor Dr SC Jamir, who was admitted to Apollo Hospitals here after he complained of chest pain on Thursday, rubbished all reports of having suffered a cardiac arrest.
“I am absolutely fit and fine. I didn’t suffer a heart attack as reported by a section of media. I am here for a routine health check-up and it will be completed by tomorrow,” Jamir said.
Earlier in the day, Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan met the Governor at the hospital. Following the meeting, he said, “All the medical tests conducted found him to be in good health.”
