Bhubaneswar: The academic session in Odisha schools for 2023-24 will begin in April this year and end in March 2024.
As per a the notification released by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha, the assessment for 2023-24 will be same as that was followed for 2022-23.
It is based on continuous comprehensive evaluation with the following weightage given for different assessments.
This apart, the inspirational components that were introduced under the 5T initiative in Class IX for HSC and Madhyama courses will be made functional in Class X from the ensuing academic session.
BSE has also uploaded the procedure for conducting the inspirational components on their website for the benefit of all concerned.
Marks in aspirational components will be given out of 100 marks (25 marks in each component) which will be reflected in the certificate of the students separately.
