Kendrapara: Biswajit Majhi had waited long for his Class X results, declaration of which was delayed by two weeks because of cyclone Fani. But as fate would have it, he died the day before results were to be announced.
Sources said the son of Rabindra Majhi of Raja Raneswari village in Kendrapara district was crushed to death when a four-wheeler he was travelling in rammed into a stationary truck at Baro Chhak on the Cuttack-Chandabali Road.
A student of Banabihari Jew High School at Rajnagar, he died on the spot. The driver of the four-wheeler fled from the accident site.
