Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance sleuths on Thursday began raids on properties linked to S Partha Sarathi Bisoi, accountant-cum-data entry operator of Batasana gram panchayat under Kotpad block in Koraput district, for allegedly possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
According to a Vigilance release, simultaneous house searches are being conducted by teams led by 2 additional SPs, 4 DSPs, 6 inspectors, 6 ASIs, and other supporting staff on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Jeypore, at 7 locations in Koraput district.
The raids are currently underway at these following places:
1.Residential house of Bisoi at Champia village, Boriguma.
2. Residential house of his brother at Champia village, Boriguma.
3. House of his relative at Champia village, Boriguma.
4. House of Bisoi at Champia village, Boriguma.
5. Cashewnut Processing Unit, Sai Krishna Enterprises at Champia.
6. Triple-storey building at Boriguma.
7. Office chamber of Bisoi at Batasana.
