Accused Journalist Identifies Himself, Vows To File Defamation Suit Against Wriddhiman Saha

Mumbai: After veteran India wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha revealed to the Board of Control for Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) the name of the journalist who allegedly threatened him for not obliging with an interview, the journalist identified himself via a video posted on Twitter.

Journalist Boria Majumdar in a Twitter video identified himself as the one accused by Saha. In his close to nine-minute-long video, Majumdar claimed that Saha “doctored” the WhatsApp screenshots of the chats with him.

Majumdar upped the ante by saying that he was filing a defamation suit against the discarded India glovesman for ‘doctoring’ the WhatsApp chat and subjecting him and his entire family to trolling.

It may be recalled that a centrally-contracted player, Saha had posted a series of tweets on February 23 and charged the journalist. After which the BCCI initiated an investigation into the matter.
