Bhubaneswar: Mancheswar police on Friday arrested a person in connection with the murder of a youth, who was hacked to death at Palasuni here the previous afternoon.
The accused was identified as Hadibandhu Behera.
The incident took place in front of a liquor shop. The murder case is the fallout of an old rivalry between the youth and the criminals visiting this place, police sources said, adding that further investigation and interrogation of the accused are on.
The accused had attacked the youth with a sharp weapon in full public view and fled the spot.
