Active COVID Tally In Odisha Drops Below 400 Amid Marginal Rise In Cases For 2nd Day

Bhubaneswar: Odisha saw a slight increase in daily COVID caseload for the second consecutive day on Thursday with 41 people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours against 39 on Wednesday and 25 on Tuesday.

According to the I & PR Department, 24 of the new cases are from quarantine and 17 local contacts. Among them, only five belong to the 0-18 years age group.

4. Cuttack: 8
5. Jagatsinghpur: 1
6. Kalahandi: 2
7. Keonjhar: 1
8. Khurda: 4
9. Koraput: 2
10. Mayurbhanj: 3
11. Nabarangpur: 3
12. Puri: 3
13. Sambalpur: 2
14. Sonepur: 1
15. Sundargarh: 7

Besides, only one from the state pool.

With these cases being detected from 7,849 samples, the test positivity rate stood at 0.52%. With 74 recoveries in the last 24 hours, Odisha now has 334 active cases.
