Bhubaneswar: Several places in interior Odisha are likely to witness a slight drop in the daytime temperature with Nor’wester becoming active from Sunday, the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre tweeted.

The MeT office further said that moisture-laden air from the sea is moving into Odisha from the south, southeast direction. The process of formation of Nor’wester will get expedited when water vapours and wind from above the sea will come in contact with the hot atmosphere. Under the influence of a cyclonic circulation on May 4, a low-pressure area is likely to form over the South Andaman Sea and neighbourhood by May 6, it added.
