Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s COVID active tally touched 95 on Monday with over 50% drop in the daily caseload as 7 more persons tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours against 15 the previous days and 22 new recoveries.
According to the I & PR department, these seven cases have been reported from three districts. Four among them are from quarantine and three local contacts. One belongs to the 0-18 years age group.
Here are district-wise figures of the new cases:
1. Kalahandi: 1
2. Khurda: 3
3. Sambalpur: 2
Besides, 1 from the state pool.
With these cases being detected from 12,549 samples, the test positivity rate stood at 0.05 per cent.
Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Sonepur, Jharsuguda, Rayagada, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Bhadark, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Angul, Deogarh and Mayurbhanj are free from coronarius will nil active cases. Koraput, Kalahandi and Keonjhar with one active case each may soon turn white.
