Mumbai: Actor Irrfan Khan has been admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital here.
Irrfan, who lost his mother two days back, is believed to have been admitted to the ICU. His wife, Sutapa Sikdar and sons, Babil and Ayan, are currently with him at the hospital, India Today reported on Tuesday.
The 54-year-old actor was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour four years back and this kept him away from Bollywood for a year.
The actor also did not promote his latest film ‘Angrezi Medium’, which was released on Disney+Hotstar due to the coronavirus lockdown, because of his health condition. Irrfan was reportedly undergoing treatment while the film was shot in the UK.
The Maqbool star could not attend his mother’s funeral in Jaipur because of lockdown and his health condition, according to media reports.
