Bhubaneswar: The body of Odia actor Pintu Nanda, who died during treatment at a private hospital in Hyderabad last night, arrived in Bhubaneswar on Thursday night.
According to the actor’s family sources, the body will be kept at a private hospital at night. It will be taken to his residence at Kalarahanga in Patia on Friday morning to enable the people to pay their last respect. Later in the day, the cremation will be performed at Swargadwar in Puri.
Pintu’s family members brought his body to Bhubaneswar in a flight from Hyderabad. His wife, relatives and Ollywood actors were present at Bhubaneswar airport.
Pintu was undergoing treatment for cirrhosis of lever at the hospital in Hyderabad. He was shifted to Hyderabad after remaining under treatment for over a month in Bhubaneswar. He breathed his last at 11.25 pm on Wednesday.
