Actor Prakash Raj Trolled For His ‘First Picture From Moon’ Tweet

New Delhi: Actor Prakash Raj is being brutally trolled for his tweet linked to Chandrayaan-3 with users accusing him of mocking India’s ambitious moon mission.

The actor, who trended high on X , shared a cartoon of a man wearing a vest and a lungi and pouring tea and captioned it “First picture coming from the Moon by #VikramLander”. Users were quick to condemn the post, which they said was driven by a “blind hatred” for Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Prakash Raj has, in the past, regularly attacked PM Modi, taking ‘chaiwala’ (tea seller) digs at him.

On August 20, the actor took to Twitter to take a direct jibe at Lander Vikram and the cartoon sketch he shared with it. Many felt that he shared the post of his ‘blind hatred for BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’.

His tweet read, “BREAKING NEWS:- First picture coming from the Moon by #VikramLander Wowww #justasking (sic).”

Soon after the tweet went viral, Twitter users schooled him for mocking the hard work of the scientists. They also shared tweets about how Chandrayaan 3 is a matter of India’s pride and not a tool for his ‘blind hatred’.
