Actors Of Popular Daily Soap ‘Anupama’ Test COVID-19 Positive

Mumbai: Actors Rupali Ganguly and Ashish Mehrotra of popular daily soap ‘Anupama’ have tested positive for COVID-19.

Rupali confirmed the news with a long post on Instagram. She said she has mild symptoms and is quarantined at her home in Mumbai.

“Have quarantined myself away from my family and other humans. Family has been tested and awaiting results…. please keep them in ur prayers,” she wrote.

Anupama further informed that the entire crew is also getting tested for COVID-19. She also apologised to other team members for having contracted the virus despite taking all precautions.

Rajan Shahi of Director’s Kut Productions, in his statement, later informed that Ashish, Rupali’s on-screen son, had also contracted the virus.

The shoot of the show was halted in February after Paras Kalnawat, who plays the role of Samar Shah, was found infected.
